Course Description
An introduction to the fundamentals of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), including their evolving history and developing role in the modern aviation industry. Topics include structual elements, avionics, flight control and guidance systems, navigation, remote sensing, and human factors. UAS integration into commercial and military airspace FAA, and regulations and sanctions will be discussed. Emphasis will be on future employment in the field with a focus on commercial airspace.
