Residency and Tuition Classification

Cochise College complies with applicable state and federal laws, including Arizona Revised Statutes, in determining residency and tuition classification. Students who are not U.S. citizens or otherwise eligible for in-state classification may be subject to out-of-state tuition and may be ineligible for certain state-funded financial Assistance.

Residency status is determined prior to registration, and students are responsible for providing appropriate documentation. Appeals of residency classification are handled in accordance with college procedures and state law.
