Course Description
This course is an introduction to the appreciation of visual art by examining the purpose of art and its relationship to society and culture. Students will become familiar with the creative process and the diverse ways in which artists can communicate complex ideas and emotions. Through critical thinking and analysis, students will learn to interpret, evaluate, and articulate their responses to works of visual art.
