Prerequisite

  1. ENG 096 or appropriate placement measurement (0-3).

  2. MAT 081 or appropriate placement measurement (0-4).

  3. RDG 092 or reading exemption (0-3).

  4. Students taking the EMT course for state or national certification must be 18 within six months of course completion.

Credit for FST 224 may be granted upon confirmation of one year of work experience as a firefighter.

Completion requirement

  1. All courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher.

  2. A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher is required.

  3. A minimum of 16 lower division (100- and 200-level) credits must be completed in residency at Cochise College.

  4. A maximum of 30 credits may be satisfied by prior learning coursework.
